Is there a fee to sign up as a worker? 

No, there are no initial fees or monthly fees to become a worker on the app. All you need to do is download the app on either your mobile via Apple Store or Google Play. Make sure all your profile information is completed in order for your account to be approved by a Work2Day team member. 

What should I do if I accepted a job that requires skills/equipment that wasn’t stated on the app? 

If the posting wasn’t transparent with the specifics of the job or requires more skills or equipment you are not ready to perform, you can terminate the job immediately. We highly suggest you contact a Work2Day support worker. You can reach us at Info@work2day.ca or call (905)-909-2020 and one of our team members would be happy to assist you. 

How do I stand out of all the workers bidding for the same job?

We suggest you make sure your profile is completed and updated to accurately reflect you. Upload a recent profile picture that is well lit with a clean background. Don’t forget to smile in your profile photos. Profiles that are 100% completed have a higher chance of scoring bids than others.  

How is my rating determined?

All star-ratings, reviews and comments are created by clients. The rating system we use is 1-5 star-rating, 1 being the lowest rating and 5 being the highest. Upon completion of each job users are asked to review the workers performance that will be attached to your profile for future clients to review your work. 

Why do I need to upload my S.I.N card information? 

SIN Numbers are required to confirm that users can legally work within Canada and to be covered by WSIB. Users with no sin number must provide a work permit to be able to work.

Why is my number required to create my profile?

You must provide us with a valid phone number to register your account. You will receive a confirmation code via text message or call to move forward to the next step. An available phone number is important so that clients or a Work2Day team member can contact you.
